Western Nevada College (WNC) was founded in 1971 as the Western Nevada Community College. It was the first college in the state of Nevada to offer an Associate of Arts degree, and has since expanded its curriculum to include a variety of academic programs and certificate programs, from Associate’s degrees to Bachelor’s degrees.
