Walla Walla University (WWU) is a private, four-year university located in College Place, Washington. Founded in 1892 by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, WWU was originally called Walla Walla College and had an enrollment of only 13 students when it first opened. The college moved to its current location in 1902 and changed its name to Walla Walla University in 2008. The university offers more than 70 undergraduate majors and five master’s degrees.
