This change allowed for an expansion in programs offered by the university, including new degree offerings such as Bachelor’s degrees in Nursing and Social Work, as well as Master’s degrees in Education and Business Administration. In addition to academic expansion, the university has seen physical growth as well with new buildings being constructed to accommodate its growing student body. In 2011, a $35 million science building opened on campus which includes laboratories for physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics courses. This facility provides students with state-of-the-art learning opportunities that are not available elsewhere in the region. See topschoolsintheusa for SAT test centers and dates in Connecticut.
