The University of Findlay was founded in 1882 by the Churches of God General Conference, a Christian denomination. Originally known as Findlay College, it began with just two faculty members and seven students. In 1908, the college was renamed the University of Findlay in recognition of its growth and development. The university began offering graduate programs in 1961 and has seen steady enrollment growth ever since. Today, the University of Findlay is a comprehensive university with more than 5,000 students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs across five colleges: Arts & Sciences; Business; Education; Health Professions; and Pharmacy. The University of Findlay is an accredited private university located in Findlay, Ohio. Established in 1882, it has a long tradition of providing excellent education to its students. The University of Findlay has a total enrollment of 4,627 students, with 3,020 undergraduate students and 1,607 graduate students. The student body is made up of a diverse group of individuals from all over the world. The student-to-faculty ratio is 16:1 and the average class size is 20 students.
