Truett McConnell College was founded in 1946 by the Georgia Baptist Convention. It began as a small Bible college on the campus of North Georgia College in Dahlonega, Georgia. The school moved to its current location in Cleveland, Georgia in 1951 and has since grown to become a private Christian liberal arts college. Its mission is to provide students with an education that integrates faith, learning and service within a community of grace and truth.
