Trevecca Nazarene University Acceptance Rate, Average GPA, SAT and ACT Scores

Trevecca Nazarene University (TNU) was founded in 1901 by Dr. John M. Boone and the Church of the Nazarene. The school was originally established as a training school for ministers, but soon expanded its curriculum to include other areas of study such as business, education, and music. The university was originally located on the south side of Nashville, Tennessee, but moved to its current location in 1921 due to increased enrollment and space constraints. During this time, the university began offering degrees in liberal arts and sciences as well as professional studies. In addition to academic expansion during this period, TNU also began offering graduate programs in 1949 and doctoral studies in 1985. In recent years, TNU has continued to prioritize student success by introducing new programs such as online degree completion programs and a new honors college. The university has grown significantly since its inception over a century ago and now serves more than 2,700 traditional undergraduate students with over 140 degree options across five colleges. See topschoolsintheusa for high school codes in North Dakota.
