Toccoa Falls College was founded in 1907 by R.A. Forrest, a Presbyterian minister from Atlanta. It was originally established as a Bible school and vocational training center for the purpose of educating youth from Appalachia and other underserved areas of the South. The school’s mission was to provide quality education to those who had previously been denied access to higher education due to economic, geographic, or other factors. Over the years, Toccoa Falls College has grown in size and scope and now offers more than 30 undergraduate programs, 10 graduate programs, and numerous extracurricular activities for students of all backgrounds.
