St. Catharine College is a private, Catholic liberal arts college located in Springfield, Kentucky. Founded in 1931 by the Dominican Sisters of Peace, the college was established to provide a quality education for young women. The college was originally named St. Catharine’s Junior College and had an enrollment of just 35 students in its first year. Over the years, the college has grown and expanded its offerings to include a variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programs. In 2002, St. Catharine became a four-year institution and changed its name to St. Catharine College.
