Passport information

Generally required, must be valid until departure and have at least two free pages.

Visa information

[1] A visa does not have to be applied for separately, upon entry for tourist and business stays as well as for visit purposes a 1-month valid visitor’s permit (visitor’s permit) is issued, provided that a return or onward travel ticket is presented, a passport that is valid until departure, a Proof of booked accommodation for the first 3 nights and sufficient funds (at least US$ 150 per day) for the duration of the stay can be provided. The visitor’s permit can be extended for a further 3 months and up to 12 months (proof of sufficient funds for the extended stay and presentation of return or onward travel ticket required).

Transit

Transit travelers who continue their journey to a third country on the same aircraft and can show a ticket for onward travel and reserved seats on the aircraft do not require a transit visa.

Entry with children

German: Machine-readable children’s passport or your own passport. Austrians: Own passport. Swiss: Own passport. Turks: Own passport. Note: The same visa regulations apply to children as to their parents. Since June 27, 2012, children need their own travel document (passport / children’s passport) to travel abroad (also within the EU). Entries of children in the parental passport are no longer possible.

Entry restrictions

All travelers (except Seychelles nationals) who have been in the following countries within 28 days prior to entry will be refused entry: Democratic Republic of the Congo, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone.

Entry with pets

Dogs and cats are not allowed.
