Training
The school is compulsory for ten years up to the age of 16. Those who go on after high school can choose between a secondary school (lyceum) with a specialization in the humanities, language or natural sciences, a technical institute or a vocational school.

High school studies are also conducted in Italy, as are university studies. Since 1985, there is a state university with a limited number of educational programs, most in collaboration with various Italian universities. About a tenth of the state budget goes to education.
