San Diego Christian College (SDCC) was founded in 1970 by Dr. Robert G. Taylor and his wife, Mrs. Esther Taylor, as a non-denominational Christian college dedicated to providing students with a quality education rooted in biblical principles. The college initially consisted of only 12 students and was located in a small building in El Cajon, California. In its first few years, the college offered only two-year degrees in Bible and Ministry. However, over the ensuing decades the college has grown substantially both in size and scope of offerings. Today, SDCC offers both two-year and four-year degrees in a variety of fields including Business Administration, Psychology & Counseling, Education & Teaching, Music & Worship Arts, Graphic Design & Digital Media Arts and more. In addition to its on-campus facilities at its main campus in Santee, California, SDCC also offers online degree programs for those who wish to pursue their studies from home or abroad. The college has built strong relationships with local churches that provide students with unique opportunities for internships and ministry experience that further enhance their education.
