Reinhardt University was founded in 1883 by the Reverend George Reinhardt. The school was originally located in Waleska, Georgia and was known as Reinhardt College. It had an initial enrollment of 30 students and only one faculty member. In 1895, the college relocated to its current location in Waleska, Georgia and changed its name to Reinhardt University. The university has grown significantly since then, now offering a variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programs. With a student population of over 3,000 students, Reinhardt University is now one of the largest universities in the state of Georgia.
