Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU) was founded in 1902 by the Church of the Nazarene. It was originally known as Pacific Bible College and was located in Pasadena, California. The college moved to San Diego in 1973 and changed its name to Point Loma College. In 2002, the college became a university and changed its name to Point Loma Nazarene University.
Throughout its history, PLNU has been driven by faith and a commitment to academic excellence. In addition to traditional undergraduate programs, PLNU offers master’s degree programs in business administration, education, and religious studies. The university also offers online courses for those who cannot attend classes on campus.
