Paraguay is known for its beautiful nature. There are rainforests, National Parks, rivers and waterfalls. In the forests of Gran Chaco there are still some rare animal species such as the giant anteater and the navel pig. There are also many bird species, including 21 different parrot species. The population of Paraguay is poor and often lives in slums.
