Palmer College of Chiropractic was founded in 1897 by Daniel David Palmer, the developer of chiropractic. Located in Davenport, Iowa, Palmer College is the first and largest chiropractic college in the world. It is also referred to as “The Fountainhead” because it is where the modern practice of chiropractic began. After opening its doors in 1897, Palmer College experienced tremendous growth and established a reputation for excellence in education and patient care. In 1922, the college was incorporated as a non-profit institution and became known as Palmer School of Chiropractic. In 1945, the name was changed to Palmer College of Chiropractic to reflect its status as an accredited college.

Since then, Palmer College has continued to grow and now offers multiple degree programs at its main campus in Davenport and two branch campuses located in San Jose, California and Port Orange, Florida. The college also has numerous international partnerships that provide access to chiropractic education around the world. Today, more than 17,000 students have graduated from Palmer College since its founding over 120 years ago. The school remains dedicated to preparing students for successful careers in chiropractic while providing quality patient care through numerous clinics located across all three campuses. Check Searchforpublicschools for a list of public schools in New York.
