Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology at Okmulgee (OSUIT) is a public institution of higher education located in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. It was founded in 1946 as the Oklahoma Vocational Technical School to provide technical training for veterans returning from World War II. In 1969, it became part of the Oklahoma State System of Higher Education and was renamed OSU Institute of Technology at Okmulgee. The school offers more than 40 degree and certificate programs in areas such as business, health care, industrial technology and engineering technology.
