Oklahoma Baptist University (OBU) was founded in 1910 by the Oklahoma Baptist Convention. The school was established to provide a quality Christian education for students of all ages and backgrounds. The first classes were offered in the fall of 1911, with the main campus located in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
