Ohio Valley University (OVU) was established in 1958 as a small, private, Christian college in Vienna, West Virginia. It began as a Bible college with the mission of equipping students to become servant-leaders in their communities. Since then, OVU has grown to become an accredited university offering over 40 academic programs in the liberal arts and sciences. In addition to traditional undergraduate courses, the University also offers graduate and professional degree programs such as the Master of Business Administration and Doctor of Education.
Today, OVU is home to nearly 1,500 students from all over the world who come to study at one of its four campuses located in Parkersburg and Vienna West Virginia; Lancaster Ohio; and Montgomery County, Maryland.
