North Greenville University (NGU) was founded in 1892 by the North Greenville Baptist Association. It was established to provide a Christian education to local students. The first classes were held in a one-room building with only three faculty members and seven students. Over the years, NGU has grown to include more than 2,000 students and over 80 faculty members. Its current campus is located on a 200-acre tract of land in Tigerville, South Carolina.

In its early days, NGU offered courses in English, mathematics, science, history and Bible study. In the 1940s and 1950s, additional courses were added in business administration and music education. In the 1970s and 1980s, new programs of study emerged such as nursing and social work. Today, NGU offers more than 60 undergraduate majors including nursing, education, business administration and psychology. The university also offers several graduate degrees including master’s programs in business administration and counseling. Additionally, NGU hosts many student organizations such as debate teams as well as intramural sports teams like softball and basketball. See topschoolsintheusa for GRE test centers in Minnesota.

For example, the university now offers online degree programs so that students can take classes from anywhere at any time while still receiving the same quality education that they would receive on campus. Furthermore, NGU has established partnerships with other universities around the world so that students can participate in international exchange programs or take courses from other institutions without leaving their own campus or home country.. As part of its commitment to global engagement and intercultural understanding NGU also hosts an annual international festival which celebrates diversity by featuring traditional food from around the world as well as musical performances from different countries.
