Multnomah Bible College and Biblical Seminary Acceptance Rate, Average GPA, SAT and ACT Scores

Multnomah Bible College and Biblical Seminary began in 1936 as Multnomah School of the Bible. It was founded by Rev. John G. Mitchell, a pastor at Portland’s Central Presbyterian Church. The school was created to provide quality theological education to laypeople and pastors alike, and its mission has remained true to this day. In 1952, the school changed its name to Multnomah School of the Bible and Junior College and began offering college-level courses in addition to biblical studies. In 1983, Multnomah gained accreditation from the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, becoming Multnomah Bible College & Biblical Seminary (MBCBS). This allowed them to offer baccalaureate degrees in theology and biblical studies with an emphasis on practical training for ministry preparation or Christian service.

Today, MBCBS remains true to its original mission of providing quality theological education for laypeople and pastors alike. With a main campus in Portland, Oregon, MBCBS also has two satellite campuses located in Spokane Washington; one is focused on distance learning while the other offers accelerated programs for working adults. MBCBS also offers online classes through both synchronous video conferencing systems as well as asynchronous course delivery options such as e-learning courses or self-paced online courses that can be completed at any time of day or night. With their commitment to excellence in theological education, MBCBS continues to provide a unique learning experience that is tailored specifically for each student’s needs. Check dictionaryforall for information about Adamson University.
