Mount Ida College Acceptance Rate, Average GPA, SAT and ACT Scores

Mount Ida College was founded in 1899 by a group of local businessmen who wished to create a college for women in the area. The college was originally housed in a mansion located on Mount Ida Road in Newton, Massachusetts. The college’s first president was Dr. Arthur G. Pollard, who was an experienced educator and administrator from Harvard University. He believed strongly in the power of education to transform the lives of young women and to give them the opportunity to pursue successful careers.

In 1920, Mount Ida College moved to its current location on Dedham Street, which is now part of the Boston metropolitan area. This move provided students with access to more educational opportunities and resources than ever before. Over the years, Mount Ida has built up its academic reputation by offering a variety of degree programs including business administration, computer science, early childhood education and psychology. The college also offers an honors program which allows students to explore their interests in greater depth and receive recognition for their achievements. In recent years, Mount Ida has also developed a number of graduate programs such as an MBA program and professional certificates in areas like accounting or healthcare management. These programs have allowed the college to expand its reach even further into the community and help meet the needs of today’s students more effectively than ever before. Check Topmbadirectory for a list of MBA colleges in Utah.
