Morgan State University was founded in 1867 as the Centenary Biblical Institute by the Baltimore Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Initially, the school was founded to train students for ministry and education within the African American community. Morgan State University is a public, historically black university located in Baltimore, Maryland. The school was founded in 1867 and has been providing quality education to students for over 150 years. In the Fall 2018 semester, Morgan State had an enrollment of 7,620 students.
