Midland College was founded in 1972 by a group of local business leaders, who wanted to create a higher education facility that could serve the needs of their growing community. The college started out with just one building and a handful of faculty members. Over the years, Midland College has grown exponentially and now serves more than 5,000 students each year. The college offers more than 40 undergraduate majors and minors as well as seven graduate programs. In addition to its academic offerings, Midland College also provides a variety of student services such as counseling, career services, and disability services.
