Midland College was founded in 1972 by a group of local business leaders, who wanted to create a higher education facility that could serve the needs of their growing community. The college started out with just one building and a handful of faculty members. Over the years, Midland College has grown exponentially and now serves more than 5,000 students each year. The college offers associate degrees and certificates in a variety of fields, including healthcare, business, education and engineering.
