Passport information
Generally required, must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the stay.
Visa information
Nationals of the following countries listed in the table above may enter the Marshall Islands for a stay of 30 days without a visa. (Return or onward travel tickets and sufficient funds for the stay in the Marshall Islands must be proven.): (a) Germany, Austria and all other EU countries. Visa upon entry Citizens of Switzerland and Turkey, among others, receive a visa upon entry for stays of up to 90 days. A transit visa for the USA may be required as all flights to the Marshall Islands go via Hawaii or Guam.

All nationalities requiring a visa: Tourist Visa: Approximately US$100 Business Visa: Approximately US$300. (for a stay of up to 30 days, extension up to 90 days possible)

Application required
Documents for visa on arrival (a) Passport valid for at least six months beyond the stay. (b) Return or onward travel tickets. (c) Sufficient Funds. (d) Police Clearance Certificate. (e) Health Certificate. Note: Travel to Kwajalein Atoll requires an entry permit issued by the US military authorities. A negative HIV test may be required for stays longer than 30 days.
Proof of sufficient funds
All travelers must have sufficient funds for the duration of their stay and a return or onward ticket.

A negative HIV test may be required for stays longer than 30 days. A measles vaccination must be presented when entering the Marshall Islands.
Entry with children
German: Machine-readable children’s passport or your own passport. Austrians: Own passport. Swiss: Own passport. Turks: Own passport. Note: The same visa requirements apply to children as to their parents. Since June 27, 2012, children need their own travel document (passport / children’s passport) for trips abroad (also within the EU). Entries of children in the parental passport are no longer possible.
