Passport information
Generally required, must still be valid for at least 6 months upon entry.

Up to 2 years (The consulate reserves the right to decide on the length of stay on a case-by-case basis).
Transit
Otherwise, transit travelers who require a visa and who continue their journey within 48 hours, do not leave the transit area and can show valid onward flight tickets do not need a transit visa. One night in the airport hotel is allowed (early reservation recommended). Personally or by post (only post or courier service) at the consulate or the consular department of the embassy (see contact addresses). Interviews are mandatory for all applicants.
Application required
(a) 1 application form (can be downloaded from the website of the competent diplomatic mission). (b) 1 passport photo. (c) Passport that is valid for at least six months at the time of entry. (d) Fee (when applying in cash or by crossed cheque, in Berlin also by bank transfer with receipt). (e) Yellow fever vaccination certificate. (f) Health insurance for travel abroad (copy of the insurance certificate). (g) Letter of invitation or proof of sufficient funds. Business visa additionally: (g) Letter of secondment from your own company about the purpose and duration of the trip as well as confirmation of the assumption of costs. Recommended: Letter of invitation from the Lebanese business partner.

Legally Required Registration
Foreign nationals planning to stay in Liberia for more than 15 days must report to the Immigration Office, Broad Street, Monrovia within 48 hours of arrival. 2 passport photos are required.
Documents required upon entry
A valid yellow fever vaccination certificate must be presented upon entry. Two passport photos are required to comply with the reporting obligation for stays of more than 15 days.
Entry with children
German: Machine-readable children’s passport or your own passport. Austrians: Own passport. Swiss: Own passport. Turks: Own passport. Note: The same visa requirements apply to children as to their parents. Minors traveling alone require a declaration of consent from their parents. More information can be obtained from the responsible consular representatives.Since June 27, 2012, children need their own travel document (passport / children’s passport) to travel abroad (also within the EU). Entries of children in the parental passport are no longer possible.
