Lake Superior State University is a public university located in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan in the United States. It was founded in 1946 and is the smallest university in the state of Michigan with an enrollment of approximately 2,500 students. The school’s admissions statistics reflect its small size; for the fall 2016 semester, there were 922 applicants and 669 accepted students out of that group.
