Kuyper College was founded in 1939 by Dr. Henry Kuyper as a Bible Institute. During the early days, the college offered two-year degrees in Biblical studies and theology, and its main focus was on training Christian leaders for ministry. In 1973, the college transitioned to a four-year institution offering Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in many different disciplines. This expansion was largely due to Dr. Kuyper’s vision to offer students an education that included both academic excellence and spiritual formation.
