Krk is a hilly island with a lot of greenery. The highest point of the island is the Obzova with a height of 568 meters. Krk is connected to the mainland via a bridge, which makes the island easily accessible. The coastline of Krk is mostly rocky with several wide pebble beaches and bays. The waters around Krk are ideal for diving to the great diversity of fish species. The island of Krk is one of Croatia’s most popular destinations. The island is also known for its many old (port) towns, olive groves and stalactite caves.
