Iona College was founded in 1940 by the Congregation of Christian Brothers, a Catholic religious order, who still govern and staff the school today. It is a private, co-educational liberal arts college located in New Rochelle, NY. Since its inception, Iona has grown into a comprehensive institution of higher learning with over 5,000 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in its four academic divisions.
