Graceland University was founded in 1895 by the Church of Christ. It is a private Christian university located in Lamoni, Iowa. Graceland University is a private institution located in Lamoni, Iowa. Founded in 1895, the university has an enrollment of around 2,500 students. The student population is diverse and includes students from all 50 states and over 20 countries. Graceland University has a retention rate of 83%, with 58% of students living on campus. Approximately 70% of the student body are undergraduates, and 30% are graduate or professional students.
