Grace Bible College was founded in 1921 by a group of evangelical Christians committed to the pursuit of theological studies and biblical scholarship. Initially, the college was located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and was named Grand Rapids Bible Institute. The school’s mission was to train students for ministry and other Christian service. Over the years, as the college grew in size and reputation, its name changed to Grace Bible College. In 1982, Grace Bible College moved from Michigan to Wyoming where it has remained since then.

Since its move to Wyoming in 1982, Grace Bible College has grown significantly from its original size of just over 500 students. It now offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs across multiple disciplines including Biblical Studies, Theology, Pastoral Ministries, Christian Education, Intercultural Studies and Counseling Psychology. In addition to these core academic areas, Grace Bible College also offers a variety of extracurricular activities such as student organizations and clubs as well as intramural sports teams.
