Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College has a rich and storied history, dating back to 1902. It began as an educational program offered through St. Louis City Hospital and was the first school of nursing in Missouri. In 1919, it became part of Washington University School of Medicine, where it remained until 1992 when the school became independent and was renamed Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College. Throughout its history, Goldfarb has been dedicated to providing students with the highest quality education in nursing.
