Felician College was founded in 1923 by the Felician Sisters of Lodi, New Jersey. The college was initially established to provide a Catholic education to young women. Over the years, Felician College has evolved and grown to become a comprehensive institution offering various degree programs. In the 1960s, Felician College began accepting male students and began offering a wider range of degree programs. In 1971, the college received its charter from the state of New Jersey which officially recognized it as an independent institution. Since then, Felician College has continued to expand its academic offerings and student body.
