He had a vision to create an educational institution that would provide quality Christian education to students from all over the world. The university opened its doors to its first class of students in 1944 and has been growing ever since. Over the years, Faulkner University has grown from a small college to a thriving university with an enrollment of over 5,000 students. It offers more than eighty undergraduate and graduate degree programs across four academic schools: Arts & Sciences, Business & Technology, Education & Human Services, and Nursing & Health Sciences.
