Visa information
Generally required for all nationalities listed in the table above. Visa on arrival If the visa cannot be applied for in advance of travel, transit and tourist visas can be issued at Bole International Airport (Addis Ababa) for nationals of the following countries listed in the table above, among others: [1] Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Denmark, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, Spain and Sweden. Visa types and costs

Validity
2 months from date of issue for 30 days stay (can be extended up to 90 days). Entry must be within 1 month of the date of issue.
Transit
Travelers who otherwise require a visa, who travel on within 12 hours, do not leave the airport and have valid documents for onward travel do not require a visa. Application required
(a) 1 application form (can be downloaded from the website of the competent diplomatic mission). (b) 1 color passport photo (c) Passport that is valid for at least six months at the time of entry. Proof of sufficient funds
Travelers must have funds of US$50 per day of stay.

Extension of stay
