Emmaus Bible College was founded in 1925 by a group of dedicated Christians who wanted to provide higher education for those interested in Christian ministry. The college was originally named the Christian Workers Training School and had only a handful of students. During the next several decades, the school grew steadily and changed its name to Emmaus Bible College in 1964. In 1987, Emmaus became accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, which allowed it to offer Bachelor’s degrees in Biblical Studies and Theology. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, Emmaus continued to expand its course offerings and build new facilities on campus. Today, the college offers over 30 majors ranging from Bible & Theology to Music & Worship Arts, as well as a variety of minors. In addition to traditional undergraduate courses, they also offer certificate programs for adult learners seeking a more flexible learning experience.
