In 1960, the school officially became Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, and it began offering bachelor’s degrees in education and the liberal arts. Over the next few decades, Edinboro continued to expand its curriculum to include more master’s degree programs as well as doctorates in educational leadership and special education.
