Easter Island is shaped like a triangle. The three corners are formed by three volcanic mountains: Maunga Terevaka (507 meters), Poike (370 meters) and Rano Kau (324 meters). The landscape is hilly with little vegetation. Several sandy beaches can be found on the coastline. According to homosociety, Easter Island is most famous for the colossal Moai statues that can be found all around the island. In addition, there are many images carved in stone (Petroglyphs). About 90% of the inhabitants live in the capital and that is why most facilities can be found there (shops, hotels, cafes, etc.).
