California Baptist University was founded in 1950 by the California Southern Baptist Convention. The university has grown from a small college of 191 students to a thriving university with over 8,000 students. CBU has been committed to providing quality education and spiritual growth since its inception. The university has expanded its academic offerings to include more than 80 areas of study ranging from business and nursing to engineering and education. In addition, CBU offers graduate degrees in many different fields such as theology, public administration, and business administration.
