Costs
Germany, Austria and Switzerland tourist and business visa: €65 (stay up to 1 month, single entry). €195 (stay of up to 3 months, multiple entries).

Tourist, Business and Transit Visa.
Transit
Transit travelers who have valid onward travel documents and do not leave the airport do not require a transit visa. In person or by post to the consular section of the embassy (see contact addresses).
Application required
(a) 1 application form. (b) 2 passport photos. (c) Passport that is valid for at least six months at the time of entry. (d) Proof of accommodation (hotel booking, invitation to private accommodation). (e) Tourists and business travellers: Confirmation from the travel agent of a paid return journey. (f) Business travellers: Letter from the sending company to the Embassy with the name of the traveler, address of the inviting company in Burundi, purpose and duration of the trip and confirmation of the assumption of costs. (g) Fee (Receipt of Wire Transfer, Personal Check). When submitting an application by post, a stamped, registered return envelope must be enclosed.

Entry with children
German: Own passport. Austrians: Own passport. Swiss: Own passport. Turks: Own passport. Note: The same visa requirements apply to children as to their parents. Children must also carry a vaccination certificate. Since June 27, 2012, children need their own travel document (passport / children’s passport) for trips abroad (also within the EU). Entries of children in the parental passport are no longer possible.
