Brigham Young University at Hawaii (BYUH) was founded in 1955 to serve the educational needs of Latter-day Saint students in Hawaii and the Pacific region. It was initially established as a two-year college, but in 1965 it became part of the larger Brigham Young University system, allowing it to offer four-year degrees. Since then, BYUH has grown steadily and now offers over 40 undergraduate majors and several graduate programs.

The university also encourages students to take part in international study abroad programs and internships with local businesses and organizations. In addition, BYUH offers a variety of extracurricular activities for its students such as intramural sports, theatre productions, music ensembles, student government organizations and more. In recent years, BYUH has developed a strong online presence with several degree programs offered completely online. This has enabled the university to reach out to students from around the world who may not be able to attend classes on campus. Check MEDICINELEARNERS.COM for a list of medical schools in Indiana.
