Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) was founded in 1881 as the Albany College of Pharmacy. It was the first school in the United States to offer a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy. In 1903, it became a part of Union University and was renamed Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Over the years, ACPHS has grown to become one of the most respected pharmacy schools in the country.
