Accredited Radiology Technician Schools

Radiology technicians perform imaging studies are known as X-rays. Radiology technicians who complete an associate’s degree in radiology from an accredited program approved by the American Registry of radiologic technologists (ARRT), are eligible to take the ARRT exam. Students who pass the ARRT exam is certified as radiologic technologists. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment opportunities for radiologic technologists is expected to grow by 17 percent from 2008 to 2018.

Pima Medical Institute also offers a Bachelor of Science in radiologic Sciences degree program online. Students must have a current American Registry of radiologic technologists (ARRT) certification to register for online bachelor’s degree. A waiver is a form of financial aid that gives Texas residents to attend college without having to pay tuition.
