There is a wide spectrum of job opportunities for graduates of wildlife ecology programs: educators in museums, zoos, aquariums, and botanical gardens; Wildlife conservationists and wildlife management specialists. Brigham Young University

Brigham Young University (BYU) has two bachelor's degrees, leading to a career as a wildlife biologists. The bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology focuses on the identification, maintenance and development of the biological diversity found in the Earth's ecological communities, of which wildlife is included. After earning this degree, students can work for governmental and non-governmental conservation agencies. BYU also offers a bachelor of Science in Wildlife and wildlands Conservation, which would qualify a student to work as a wildlife biologist. After earning this degree, individuals will have the technical skills needed to protect wildlife.

Texas State University at San Marcos

Texas State University San Marcos ' Biology Department has Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees are available in Wildlife management. Courses include taxonomy, ornithology, plant ecology, biometrics, wildlife techniques and vertebrate natural history. There are also master degrees in wildlife biology, that assigns a master of Arts, a master of science and a master's degree. In Wildlife Ecology graduate program students work together with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Research opportunities also are available in certain wilderness areas, such as the endangered bird species, white-tailed deer ecology and genetics, and bat ecology.

SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry

State University of New York's Syracuse campus is home to the SUNY College of Environmental Science and forestry (ESF). There are 19 bachelor of science education on the European Social Fund. Students who are working toward a bachelor's degree in Wildlife Science degree learn to use ecological data to manage populations of wild animals through wildlife management and how the integration of ecology, economy and society to balance the needs of wildlife and people. This program places emphasis on the biology and ecology of plants and invertebrates and vertebrates.
