Training
Compulsory school is compulsory and free of
charge for children between 6 and 16 years. More than
one third of children attend Andorran schools, one third
in French and just under one third in Spanish schools.
Even in the Spanish and French schools some Catalan are
included in the teaching.
All schools are built and maintained by the Andorran
authorities, who also pay for the Andorran teachers. The
French and Spanish teacher salaries are paid by France
and Spain.
