We will try here to give some hints and tips for the proper use of LED lighting in offices.
Before raising or a lighting project led in offices is important to know what type of activity will be developed in each space, how many workers will be, the distribution and location of tables and furniture. The more information you have, the better the result of the planning of lighting.
Much of the public spends much of his time working in an office inside, so the lighting is very important. The light affects our senses, and hence to our mood and our body. Our welfare and our health largely depend on the quality of the lighting of the space in which we spend many hours according to incredibleflashlight.

Lighting led of offices could be initially distinguish 3 types of lighting, with its advantages and disadvantages which we will discuss below, which are:
-General lighting
-Spot lighting
-Ambient and/or decorative lighting

LED Lighting In Offices: General Lighting

General lighting means that all lighting designed to provide light in a uniform manner to all of a room or specific area. Among its advantages, and especially when we talk about lighting in offices, notably general lighting tends to reduce shadows and tends to be fairly homogeneous, non remarkable or notable contrasts. Usually, for general lighting, fixtures or used light sources tend to be located above the eye, usually on the roof (recessed or suspended) in the case of a direct lighting, or on walls in the case of indirect lighting, while there are suspension systems which can provide indirect or diffuse general lighting.
It is worth to note that there are large number of screens and computers today in offices, we must prevent glare on the screens. For this reason, it is advisable to use lighting more diffuse as possible, as well as trying to locate them to the maximum possible height.
Another advantage that entails the use of general lighting in offices is the versatility of the jobs, i.e. the possibility of changes in distribution in meases, furniture and opposite workflow, pair adapt to changing needs of the business or activity that takes place.
But on the other hand, although this type of lighting allows you to reach levels of lighting for around about 200 lux with a good homogeneity in its distribution, in a homogeneous way higher levels of 500-600 lux with relative ease does markedly increase the number of points of light, and thus the power consumption and the cost of installation as well as you create an environment too monotonous, which can have a negative impact on productivity.
For this reason, it is recommended to combine a good diffuse general lighting that provides a medium level of between 200 and 300 lux, with spot lighting in workplaces, depending on the tasks required in each case.

LED Lighting In Offices: Spot

A type of light more intense and concentrated in a zone, space or reduced surface, as opposed to general lighting means lighting timely or focal. The use of this type of lighting in offices means that it is necessary to know the location of each job.
The main advantage of the focal illumination in the case of post offices at is that it allows to provide to each worker the right amount of light, or levels of luminance, you need according to your activity.
This can be done mainly in two different ways: from the own plane on the artboard, using lamps or luminaires mobile (typical flexo, while today there are many other formats and systems available that would fall in this category), either through pendant luminaires or on the roof, with an angle of light focused onto the surface of the table and closed , and preferably that the projection is made laterally to reduce shadows and reflections. The main disadvantage of using, but lighting still make a punctual lighting, is remaining flexibility to distribution or location of jobs once the installation.

LED Lighting In Offices: Decorative Lighting

Today, and especially since the led lighting system allows multiple and varied decorative applications until recently complex and even impossible, the use of decorative lighting has been popularized in all fields, including office lighting.
We can understand by decorative lighting or ambient, to led office lighting is concerned, all that lighting intended to create aesthetic, decoration and even theatrical effects usually for commercial purposes or corporate image and to potential customers, rather than to illuminate or to provide light for the development of the activity of the office workers i.e., more aesthetic than functional purpose.
In our opinion, we believe that it is OK to exploit the possibilities of led lighting, changes color, etc. in order to improve the image of a brand, company, etc, but in an office, you have to go very carefully that the decorative lighting does not interfere nor generate Visual discomfort, flashes, reflexes or other interference and inconvenience workers having in that office that it develops daily work.
