In the period in which we traveled the temperatures oscillated between 6 ºC to 23 ºC .
For the first two days I believed that my ride would not yield beautiful photos, due to the fog and thin rain that fell on the city of Gramado( 6 ºC to 10 ºC). On the other days we were able to get cooler temperatures( 10 ºC to 16 ºC). And the sun only appeared in fact the last, we were coming home( 21 ° C to 23 ° C).
On the first day, when we arrived at Porto Alegre Airport we were greeted by a travel guide, who took us to the agency bus that would take us to Gramado. The bus ride took an average of 2(two) hours.
In one of his explanations, the guide informed that the cold of Gramado provided in the visitors the effect”Onion”. And I thinking,”Onion effect? What do you mean?” And she went on with the explanation:”The onion does not have several layers? So when it dawns the temperature is very low and as the day goes on, the earth is heating up and people are taking off their clothes from above… Not to leave with much clothing, and soon afterwards feel very hot and end up forgetting the coats in the places that visit. sqn During this time we were very cold, I did not feel this”onion” effect. LOL
From the experience of other trips, I took my low temperature kit with me(second skin, thermal set, boots, scarf, hat, hat and wool coat. I thought the glove was not necessary, but I was wrong), to keep warm during travel. The following dressing tips from psyknowhow.com suitable to face the cold in Gramado:
Second skin, thermal set or pantyhose 80:
The second skin or thermal assembly should be used before the second normal clothing(blouse and pants).
I have already commented in another post of cold, Argentina or Chile I do not remember exactly, as to the use of leather jacket in low temperatures. The leather jacket will leave you chic, beautiful and elegant, but you will need more clothing underneath to keep your body warm. Leather in the cold=charm:)
The scarves help protect the neck from the cold as well as throat, in addition to
Provide charm in the look.
The caps help protect the head and ears.
Besides protecting the head from the cold, hair from the fine rains, give a special charm to the look.
Important to bring at least one pair. If it gets cold, gloves will help keep your hands warm. On this trip I did not take it, believing it would not be so cold, I was wrong. It was necessary to buy a pair of gloves in Nova Petrópolis ..rsrs my hands were freezing.
As it does not rain so much, it’s okay to wear woolen gloves. Wool gloves are not very suitable for regions with snow.
It was very cold. Very cool indeed.
I compared the temperature of the first two days to the temperatures of Chile.
I commented with some friends:”When I left the hot bath and stepped on the floor, I felt the floor of the hotel room frozen, as I jumped on the bed, the bed cold, cold…” lol. Also important to put in warm pajamas to sleep. Baby doll in cold temperatures, forget it!
Because it is located in the Serra Gaúcha and has a lot of green, Gramado is really cold when it reaches relatively low temperature(6º C to 11ºC) .
So when you go to Lawn, check the weather forecast and wear appropriate clothing for each season. And do not forget, enjoy this beautiful and charming city.
Until the next post.;)
