A Tablet With Braille Allows Blind People To Read

Researchers at the University of Michigan are focusing their efforts on a new technology that will permit a better fruition of tablets for people suffering from blindness.

Despite improvements in recent years in text-to-speech and other accessibility features, some information, such as those contained in a chart, remain inaccessible, but a similar display, consisting of 10,000 motorized points able to move, would allow blind and partially sighted people with a better experience.
